Hailing from Glasgow let me introduce you to Tuff Love, an indie rock duo who you should be listening to. With dreamy guitar driven tracks that take cues from Cat Power and at times The xx, they're perfect listening for a poignant afternoon.

In support of a new EP and new tour next month, the two-piece recently released the music video for lead single Duke..which sounded like an interesting experience.

"We spent 8 hours lying on the ground putting our faces through little holes to make the video for Duke. If you like stripes and patterns then you might like this. If it looks like we are in pain then it's because we are - it was like doing one big long crunch for 8 hours. We did have some support from pillows for head support but they didn't work 100%.. anyways we now have abs and we did not before."

It ain't easy being an indie rock duo.

Anyway, Suse and Julie very kindly answered the infamous "Introducing Questionnaire" for me and by doing so revealed a love for Sun Kil Moon, a dislike for Kasabian's 48:13 and a yearning for a breakfast buffet in the clouds. Check it out below!

1. What is your favourite album and why?

Suse - Mine is currently TRICK by Alex G. It's lovely and soothing and progressive. It's quite a sad album but it makes me feel better when I feel sad. Brilliant melodies that hurt my heart.

Julie - At the moment it's Benji by Sun Kil Moon. It's sad but brilliant. It's the first bit of sad music I've been able to listen to in a long time. The lyrics are amazing. Everything is so well put.

2. What is your least favourite album and why?

Suse - Probably the Kasabian one that has that song Eez-eh on it. I've not listened to it though..

Julie - The U2 album that iTunes put on my computer. I haven't listened to it so it's not really fair, but I resent its presence.

3. What made you start making music together?

We both wanted a creative outlet. Julie had songs, Suse had some ideas. It was excellent timing and we really clicked musically.

4. Right now, what are you most looking forward to?

I've just eaten dinner and am really excited about having a bath in a minute. Other than that we're going to Iceland for the first time in November and we cannot wait.

5. Favourite swear word?

Is git a swear word? We should bring that back. Unless it has some hidden, sinister meaning.

6. Do you have a favourite inspirational Quote?

Sometimes good things are said that can be inspirational, but they seem to have less impact when they're pitched as inspirational quotes. We just searched 'inspirational quotes' on the internet, here's one "you only live once but if you do it right ONCE IS ENOUGH"

7. Do you have a favourite Kanye West Quote?

That's a hard question. we don't know, he seems to say massivllllley sweeping statements all the time. I can't decide if he's clever or really really really stupid.

8. If you weren't in a band, what profession would you like to attempt and why?

Suse - Hmmm. I would like to be a vet because I like animals a lot.

Julie - I would like to be a counsellor because I think counsellors are important and I also think I would find it interesting.

9. What profession would you not like to attempt and why?

Anything that involves sitting for hours and hours.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?

Please help yourself to the eternal infinite breakfast buffet

Tuff Love's new EP Dregs is releases November 6th via Lost Map Records

Oh, and when you get the chance listen to their track Carbon.
